“Hey, Eiji, what’s up?” Koji asked, as he was busing tables, with Eiji, seeing a long face on the beautiful delicate flower. The flower didn’t reply with a straight answer, but with a heavy deep sigh. “Nothing, really…” Eiji said, as he slowly began to slump down to a nearby chair, leaving his arm still on the table, after cleaning it several times, from the same location. “Oh, come on! It’s not that bad, probably. Tell Koji everything.” Koji threw his cloth to the nearby countertop, barely letting the piece of tough fabric fall over, as he turned his chair backwards and sat down across from him, still looking at the lonesome face. “Yes it is, my life is over!” Eiji threw his head on the table, with his arms folded to hide the precious jewels that fell out of heaven’s clouds. “Come on, old buddy, I need some information, details, anything that can help tell me what’s wrong.” Koji slowly patted the rain cloud on his chocolate covered hair, and mimicked the same gesture, but leaving his arms out, still slowly petting the soft hair.
Eiji slowly looked up at Koji, noticing that he didn’t go away to continue to do his job, but sat down to help out a fallen friend. The last of the remaining teardrops that were slowly being pulled from the earth’s gravity were wiped away with a kind and friendly hand, Koji’s hand. He blushed a silky pink on his pale face, as he felt the soft, delicate hand touched his cheek, as he slowly wiped away the last raindrop that fell from the cloud itself. He gave a small smile, as telling him he’s very glad that a little helper was with him, instead of doing his job. “Please, Eiji, tell me what’s wrong.” Koji spoke in a tone that made the little blossom dance in the wind, along with the problem he had inside him.
“I don’t know if I should tell you this, though… He might be here…” The soft blossom spoke, as he slowly began to set down on the ground. “Go ahead, Eiji. I won’t tell anyone.” Koji said, as he began to shuffle his feet, waiting impatiently for the blossom to open up to him. “Well, I’m just so afraid that he might do it again!” The blossom shouted as his petals felt like they were being torn against the sudden heavy winds, trying to stop him to bloom fully. He placed his head down on the flat cold table, again, dropping tear after tear of regret, rage, hatred, and sorrow. “Eiji…” The little helper gently placed his fingers on the fallen blossom, and slowly lifted his face up, as the sun shone through the clear window behind him, turning each teardrop into a color of the rainbow. “Please tell me, and maybe I can help…” Koji gently spoke, knowing a slight sudden change could ruin the slow blooming of the delicate flower.
“He…” Eiji spoke so soft, Koji came closer to listen to the soft song of the lark, sing its heart out in the early dawn morning. “He raped me…” The bird quickly looked around for any unwanted predictors, and tried to avoid contact with the silent listener. “Eiji, you should have told me a little earlier, so I could have protected you.” Koji said, as he took the soft rag on the cold table, and began to wring it, trying to hold in his anger. ‘Who could have done this to my sweet delicate and innocent flower?! Could it be that guy that is always following around, that he calls a boyfriend? It can’t be! He’s too nice… Or is he?’ The listener wrung the cloth so much; it slowly began to tear its own strength into little fibers of strings. “It was Kenji…” The delicate flower began to open wider to let the passer look inside to his wound.
‘It started with him, coming home one day.’ Eiji said slowly, as a flashback began to happened. ‘He was very drunk, drunker than ever…‘ Kenji appears in front of an open door, with his dress shirt wide open, his tie around his forehead, and his face, bright cherry red. ‘He was laughing, spinning around the room, and throwing up all over the place. He ended up in the bedroom, somehow, and saw me, asleep…’ Kenji slowly walks into the bedroom, using the walls and doorframes as support, and sees a shadow, on his bed.
“How come you didn’t fight back?” Koji asked, as he was totally absorbed by the whole story. He saw some tears, beginning to roll down on the fallen one, like raindrops falling off a flower. “I couldn’t, it was dark. I couldn’t see, he was too strong…” Eiji had a book of reasons why he couldn’t do anything, only receive what he didn’t what yet. “Hey, it’s okay, don’t worry. I’ll talk to him after work, okay?” Koji slowly stood up, and gently placed his hand on the weak shoulder. “NO, DON’T!” Eiji shot the reply, standing up quickly, knocking the hand off his shoulder. “Please, don’t talk to him, please…” Eiji began to weep again, and this time, Koji carefully placed his hand behind the fallen one’s head, and guided it to a lonely shoulder. “It’s okay, let it all out…” Koji gently patted the sad gloomy boy.
“Hey, you okay now?” Koji asked, as Eiji slowly opened the door to his apartment. “Yeah, I’m fine. Don’t worry about me, now. I can take care of myself.” Eiji said, as he slowly opened the door, leading in to the forbidden house of Yokoshima resident. “Okay, I’ll see you at work, tomorrow…” The small tiny voice said, as he quickly closed the door, leaving Koji alone, in the cold, and empty hallway, leaving him only one thing to do.
“What time is it…” A shadow of a muscular figure walks towards the darken apartment. The doorbell keeps ringing over and over until finally, a light switch flicks on, and the person yawns louder than a bear, scratches himself, and finally opens the door, not knowing what somewhat crazy person would appear. “What do you…” The owner quickly receives a punch in the jaw, giving him a wake-up call. “What the hell did you do to Eiji?!” Koji yelled, as he began to punch Eiji’s rapist again. Kenji quickly blocks the punch, and turns on all the light of the empty apartment. “Wait, hold on! What did I do?” Kenji asked, as he began to yawn again, rubbing his jaw, and scratches his back. “DON’T ACT STUPID WITH ME!” Koji threw another punch towards Kenji, but the skillful one caught the punch, and gripped it. “Don’t do anything that you’ll regret.” Kenji threw the attacker’s hand back to the owner, and yawn again. “Then why did you rape Eiji?!” Koji yelled. Kenji had a completely blank face. “What? Me rape him? We broke up like a couple days ago. He said that he needed space, so I gave it to him.” Kenji said, like as he didn’t care for Eiji, even though Eiji was his first in a while. “You better not be lying to me!” Koji stormed out of the apartment, slamming the door hard, causing the light from above to knock over, knocking out all the lights from the lonely apartment, leaving Kenji in the dark.
The next day…
“Morning, Koji.” Eiji gave a huge smile, showing Koji his happiness. He looked over towards Koji’s direction, noticing a somewhat raged face. “Come with me.” Koji quickly grabbed Eiji’s wrist and yanked him into the back of the restaurant, in a room, with a light, and all the goods are located. Koji pushed him in, flicked the light on, and locked the door behind him. “Eiji, did you really get raped?” Koji asked, as he stood by the door, making sure he get answer, before letting him go. “Please, I don’t want to talk about it…” Eiji said, as he tried to find a way out. “Then, why did Kenji said that you’ve broken up with him for a while.” Koji asked, moving towards Eiji. “He’s lying. He was the one who’s lying. Do you trust a person you know longer, over a person you hardly know about?” Eiji asked, as he noticed that Koji was a couple feet away from him. “ANSWER ME! DON’T LIE TO ME!” Koji yelled. Eiji knew that there was no way to keep Koji’s anger down, and once it was up, it stood there, until he gets what he wants. “TELL ME OR I’LL RAPE YOU!” The angry man yelled, and he began to loosen his belt. “I didn’t get rape, please don’t rape me… I just did it because I love you…” Eiji fell to the floor, crying his eyes out.
Koji lets go of his belt, and kneels down to where the crying Eiji once laid still. “Why, all this trouble?” Koji asked, as he gently wiped off a raindrop off his delicate flower’s face. “It seemed that you would never like guys, like me, and I was afraid to get rejected by you. I liked you ever since we started to work together, here, in this restaurant.” Eiji gave a loud hard sniff, to clear out his nostrils, as his eyes slowly began to clear up from the fogginess. His vision was clear, and all he saw was his one true love, in front of him. He slowly crept close to his love’s face, and gently placed his lips on top of his only love. Koji didn’t move away but instead, gently placed his hand behind Eiji’s, hoping that he wouldn’t mind, or move away. None of the other boys negative ideas happen, just they sat there for a while, kissing. “Koji, let’s back to work…” Eiji slowly pulled away, seeing Koji’s eyes closed. “Koji..” Eiji said softly.
“KOJI!” Koji quickly snapped back into reality, noticed that he was resting his eyes for a moment. He saw Eiji in front of him, with a very stern face. “Yeah, yeah, help me out here…” Eiji walked around the counter, and begin to help Koji with a tray. The tired one was still asleep, and accidentally tripped on Eiji’s shoe, causing his tray to fall over, and spill everything on the floor. “GOD! WAKE UP!” Eiji yelled, as he bent over, to help Koji pick up the stuff off the floor. Koji took another tray from the counter and carefully picked it up. “Take that to table five, and help me after this.” Eiji said, as he continued to pick up the stuff. Koji noticed a irresistible sight in front of him, and he gently brushed his hand over Eiji’s slacks. The helper suddenly jumped up, looking at Koji. ‘What a weird guy.’ Eiji said to himself, as he saw Koji, giving him a smile.
