Step 1: Cleaning and editing

This is rather a simple step. After scanning, then proceed to clean your drawing. For this, I recommend you first use the Levels function, which you can activate by pressing CTRL + L. A window like the one you see below will appear. There you will have to adjust the levels of black and white in your drawing. I first recomment you push the Auto button, and Photoshop will do the work for you. If you still see that the levels are not of your likeness, you can adjust them manually by moving the arrows below the levels line.

When you've done this, your pic will show only pure black and white colors, like the example below. Isn't little Brayden a Liam cute?? ^_^
